Dementia/Alzheimer's is on the rise and touches many families. Knowledge is power. The more you know, the more you can help those affected.

Each class meets in the Chapel, and includes a 30-minute talk followed with Q&A time.


  • March 1: Brain Tuneup  Our brains are a critical part of our everyday functioning. In recent years, science and research has proven that much more can be done to keep our brains healthy, just like our bodies. Our remarkable brains can be primed and retuned for productivity, efficiency, and flexibility. It is just as essential to measure and monitor your brain fitness as it is to measure and monitor your physical fitness. Come and learn how you can give your brain a tune-up!By the end of this lecture participants will:

Brian Browne is the president of Dementia Care Education and has over 20 years of experience in Alzheimer's and dementia research, education and care.  Brian is a frequent lecturer at meetings and conferences locally and nationally. He has expertise in dementia care education and training, Alzheimer's research, healthy aging and cultural competency. Mr. Browne serves as an advisor on Career and Technical Education for two local school districts as well as the leadership council of the Alzheimer’s Association and Arizona Alzheimer’s Consortium.  Mr. Browne also has the pleasure of serving on the boards of the Fellowship
